I am a core music teacher in Vancouver, B.C., teaching kindergarten through grade 6. I have been teaching music since 1991, including private piano, guitar, and flute, preschool & Montessori music, choir, and classroom music. I studied education at Simon Fraser University, where I am presently completing a Graduate Diploma in Elementary Music Education.

My teaching style is influence by the Orff-Schulwerk approach, and includes lots of movement, improvisation, singing, dancing, and play-based learning. I am also passionate about incorporating technology into the music room.

When I’m not busy teaching or creating resources for my Teachers Pay Teachers store, I enjoy playing French Horn in a community concert band, cooking, reading, and learning how to code.
